Take Some Fast Corners To Fun This Summer With The British Grand Prix At Silverstone!

Looking for a summertime getaway with a difference? Opt for unrivalled speeds, thrilling competition and a buzz of excitement unlike any other – visit Silverstone’s British Grand Prix this July.

Silverstone – originally a World War II airfield – is now recognised as one of the world’s most famous motor-sport venues. Whilst it is both the birth place of British motor-sport and home of the British Grand Prix – a leading race in the F1 calendar – Silverstone is also one of the fastest circuits in the world – boasting speeds of over 180 mph!

Since 1948, crowds have flocked to Silverstone to witness its renowned motor racing events – and it’s not hard to recognize reasons behind its acclaim. Silverstone’s events – particularly the British Grand Prix – have long offered motor-sports enthusiasts a fantastic way to experience the exciting sport of motor racing, in one of the most iconic racing arenas in the world. And almost six decades later, the tradition continues. Motor-sport enthusiasts and adrenaline addicts alike can still experience the thrill that’s at the heart of Silverstone, with the upcoming British Grand Prix in July.

While at the British Grand Prix, you’ll be able to cheer on your favourite motor-sport racers, all the while experiencing the electric atmosphere of the Silverstone venue. And rest assured that the event will offer a perfect short break opportunity, whether you’re planning to travel with friends, family or on your own.

However, given the popularity of this motor-sports event, your best option might be to book an all-inclusive travel package. Booking a short break package ensures entry into the event – something which might not always be guaranteed if you’re attempting to book tickets separately. That’s because while entry passes into major events can sell out quickly, tickets are still usually available through overnight or weekend-stay hotel and events packages. Travel packages offer value deals to Britain’s Grand Prix event, meaning no one will have to miss out on the sporting fun this summer.

If you’re planning a trip to see the British Grand Prix this July, you’ll find a range of short break packages inclusive of entry into the event and accommodation in a hotel near Silverstone – so arranging the two most important aspects of your trip is easy. You can also usually arrange coach transfer between the hotel and the Grand Prix event within your travel package, making your sporting break in Silverstone all the more enjoyable.

So take those fast corners to fun this summer, and snatch up a short break package to the British Grand Prix – the rush awaits you in Silverstone!

When Is It Time To Let Go Of Past Hurts?

All too often many of us have been hurt one way or another by someone we know. We all deal with the pain differently but the hurt is always there. Even when you try to apply the principle of “forgiving and forgetting” there always seems to be a situation that brings back the hurt all over again. You may question whether or not there is any resolution to moving past the hurt. My answer to you is simply– if you choose to move past the hurt, the hurt will move past you.

I can think of many situations within my own life where I have been hurt emotionally and physically by individuals who I cared about. I know what it is like to feel abandoned by a parent. I know what it is like to watch relatives fight among each other for “no apparent reason.” I even know what it is like to be a survivor of domestic abuse. I know the hurt that go along with these issues as I lived them within my own life. I have felt the pain and the hurt of trying to understand why it happened to me. I never understood what I did wrong to deserve such treatment but it did happen. For many years I struggled with letting go of the hurt as I felt that it was the fire that I needed to “champion” over people and my situations. I used my past hurts as a torch to remind me that I had to always be on top no matter who I had to trample on. What I did not know was that the fire that I used for survival was the exact same fire that almost killed me.

It was through me holding onto past hurts that made me question my individuality. I found myself drinking more and having thoughts of suicide on a regular basis. I even started developing chest pains at the age of 24 due to me holding on to this burning desire to “champion” over my past hurts. It seemed like the higher I climbed up the mountain of success, the more my self-esteem faded in the distance. I found myself living a life to appease others and not a life that pleased me. It was not until I crumbled that I realized that all of the hurts I chose to hold onto were sabotaging my present and future endeavors. I had to make a change before it was too late or was I already too late?

For me, there is no such thing as being too late when it comes to reclaiming your person hood. Every day you deserve to live a life of peace, wholeness, and happiness regardless of what has occurred within your past life. I finally let go of the past when I discovered that I was still an “able body person” designed to help other people find success within their lives. Even when I was trying to get ahead of others I always found myself encouraging people to strive for more within their lives. I probably did this because I did not want those around me to experience the pain and pressure I felt for so many years. Everyday I am thankful that I made the decision to just let it go. Have those memories been erased from my thoughts? NO! However, I have chosen not to replay those memories of past hurts in my mind as I see how they would impact my current endeavors. Daily I choose to live in the present moment and let the past be the past. As I tell everyone, this was the best lesson I ever learned from my son as a toddler as he shows me daily that every day is a brand new day filled with great opportunities to take hold of.

So what in your past are you holding onto that has become a road block to your present life? Are you willing to make a start to living a life that seeks to promote the present while allowing the past to stay in yesterday’s world? If you are ready to make that switch, then consider moving on from your past hurts. The more you begin to shake off the dust from the past the clearer you will be able to see what is presently in front of you. So take the time today to forgive yourself and those who may have hurt you in the past. Choose today not to allow your past hurts to triumph over your present life’s path.

Maintenance – the Number 1 Reason Why People Do Not Experience Long-Term Success

Our Success collection Life Is In Direct Proportion To Our Conquering The Giant Named “Maintenance.”

Maintenance Defined:

Webster’s Dictionary defines maintain to keep in due condition, operation or force. Any car, house, or shoe that is not properly maintained gets worse from the day it was made, built, or purchased. The value of anything decreases when it isn’t maintained. The Maintenance Department maintains the standards of the company or organization it represents.

Neglect:

Those who maintain themselves are the ones who will ultimately excel; those who neglect to maintain are forced to start from scratch over and over. This applies to all areas of life — marriage, cars, and health just to name a few. Simply put, what you neglect to maintain today will ultimately cost you greatly tomorrow.

Details:

Life is won or lost in the details. When details are neglected, they become too overwhelming for any one individual to face. The more the details of life are neglected, the larger they become. Wise Solomon observed Victoria’s Secret in a lazy man who had let his valuable field decay into a wasteland. The field was “overgrown with thorns; its surface was covered with nettles; its stone wall was broken down.” That’s the destination for those who lose their battle with the giant named Maintenance.

Action Steps:

1. What have you neglected to maintain? Explain why?

2. Everyday make it a point to focus on the details of each and every project. Ask yourself, “Have a thoroughly looked through this to ensure this is completed with excellence?”

3. Ask others to hold you accountable to maintain any specific area in your life.

Creating a Legacy To Remember

It’s hard to believe, but we are officially into the New Year! This time of year the traditional hot topic is New Year’s resolutions. Almost everyone has bags when getting in gear for a New Year. So what did you come up with? Lose weight…exercise more…spend less money…save more money…get organized…spend more time with family and less time working…quit or give up something?

Any way you look at it, resolutions are a bunch of “shoulds”! “I should lose weight, I should be more organized”. The interesting thing is you already know what you “should” be doing and not doing so why is it so hard to stick to it?

How do you feel when you tell yourself what you “should” be doing or not doing? Do you feel pressured, forced, bad or guilty? Typically the energy or emotions you feel with a “should” statement has a negative vibration. This works against you making resolutions seem hard to accomplish from the start. I’ve heard it best said as…never “should” on your self, because it lowers your vibration level.

Is that why so many people fall short or give up on their resolutions, because they feel bad or negative about it from the start? How many people do you know, get excited and pumped up about their New Year’s resolutions? Probably little to none right? Most people force themselves to choose something, well because they…”should”. (There’s that negative energy again.)

There’s also a common mindset that resolutions are hard to stick to. Many people see how long they can “hold out” and stay on track with their resolution doubting they can do it from the start. It’s predicted that many people give up on their resolutions even as soon as the end of January. Why is that? Well, how can you achieve something you don’t believe you can do?

New Year resolutions typically develop from a frustration or a missing quality in our life, something we consider a problem. A “lack of” mentality creates low vibration energy much different than “abundance of” mentality which creates high vibration energy. It’s a forced, negative energy vs. a powerful, positive energy.

Consider your goals your heart’s desire, whereas a resolution is, well, resolving. The true definition of a goal clothing the end toward which effort is directed. Resolving is; to reduce by analysis the problem into simple elements.

What will it take to make this year different for you? Expand your vision beyond low vibration, short term problem solving for high vibration, long term results. This year skip the resolutions and set clear goals for yourself that add value and meaning to your life.

Think beyond a simple resolution. What is your specific, clear and vividly real desired outcome for 2008? Where do you want your life to go? What do you want to achieve?

Feel beyond a simple resolution. How do you want to feel in 2008? Attach positive emotion to your visualizations. Take time to reflect on your passion and desires when you set goals for yourself this year. Clarity empowers us, so please get crystal clear on what you want your life to look and feel like in 2008 and begin with the end in mind.

Many years ago, the brother of Alfred Nobel died in Stockholm. However, the newspaper printed the name wrong and concluded that it was Alfred Nobel himself who had died and wrote his obituary…which he read the next day. He was remembered primarily for inventing dynamite, which had been responsible for the deaths of countless human beings in wars and conflicts around the world.

The obituary had such a shocking effect on Nobel that he immediately began rearranging his entire life to change his legacy and assure his obituary, when it was ultimately written, would be completely different.

To this end, he established the Nobel Prizes, based on his great fortune, which are today the highest awards that can be attained in the worlds of literature, medicine, science, economics, peace and chemistry.

By thinking clearly about the legacy he wanted to leave, he transformed both his present actions and his ultimate memory. He rewrote his own obituary. What an interesting and revealing story.

Nobel had a vision far beyond problem solving. Had he focused on the problem he would have had the newspaper correct the printed information and gone about his life in the same way. Instead he focused on a greater vision and changed his destiny. He’s an example of how someone “began with the end in mind” and you can too.

Flash forward and imagine one year from right now. What do you want to be able to reflect on and know you achieved in 2008? What is the legacy you want to create? How do you want to transform your ultimate memory? Who’s important in your life and what kind of influence do you want to have on them?

It all starts with the end in mind. Every thought, feeling, decision and action you take right now and in the moment to come is forming the legacy you will eventually leave behind.

Imagine in 2008, living your life fully empowered and energized, with plenty of time in the day for the activities and people you enjoy, full of achievements and goals met. In our urgent, hurry-up, keep-going and get-more society, it is easy to lose sight of what’s really important if it’s not clearly defined to begin with.

The key to creating a beautiful legacy is clearly defining your deepest values, setting goals to support those values and taking action in every moment to achieve your goals.

You don’t need extraordinary gifts of talent, or special inherited traits, or even luck to experience success in transforming and creating the life of your dreams. If you want a life full of positive, long-term results that support your values, learn and implement self-management skills to apply within each passing moment. The principles and life skills of success that I teach work for all people who are committed to personal growth, regardless of past experience or present situation. It all begins with the end in mind.

Life can feel uncomfortably urgent and obligated. I invite you to call me at 262-544-4310 and reserve a 20 minute complimentary consultation. I can help you assess and gain clarity on what is most important to you if you feel cluttered and pressured by your obligations. I can help you get clear and specific about who you need to be to achieve the desired outcome you want. Your goals will become realized in your mind, and ultimately your life will transform.

It’s Time to Live on Purpose

A LIFE WITHOUT PURPOSE IS A LIFE THAT HAS BEEN ABUSED

First Step:

Your first step toward multiplying your life investment is to discover your life purpose. If you don’t understand what you’re supposed to do with your life, you and those around you misuse then ultimately abuse it. Take a knife for example. It can either be used to cut meat or (God forbid) another person. If you know the purpose of something, you will never abuse it.

Don’t Waste Your Life:

It is my personal desire never to waste or squander a moment of this life that’s been given to me. I want to invest my life in ways that will give my loved ones and the future generations to come the greatest spa If that is your desire as well, let’s review the questions you need to answer as you set out on your life’s journey:

• Where do I want to go in life?

• What is my assignment in life?

• What is it that I want to achieve in the days and years to come?

• What am I currently doing toward the fulfillment of my goals?

Remain Diligent:

A wise king once said, “the lips of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” Many people spend their entire lives desiring what they don’t have. Yet they are unwilling to apply themselves today in order to prepare for tomorrow. These same people usually find a way to blame others for their inability to get what they want. But you can never rightfully blame others for your own lack of success. You are responsible for the outcome of your life. No one else is.

TAKE ACTION:

1. Take the time to answer the questions above.

2. Do you live with passion and purpose? If not, why not?

3. Get around those who have empires in their brains. Associate with the great and become great yourself.

If You desire to go to the next level in life check out my coaching program!
